To coincide with the release of their highly-anticipated new album, 12 Stones is gearing up to hit the road this spring along with Saliva and Royal Bliss. The trek will kick off on April 18 in West Springfield, Va. at the Empire, and is expected to continue on through May.

Those who are unable to catch 12 Stones out on the road still have the release of their new album, ‘Beneath the Scars,’ to look forward to when it hits stores on May 22. The new collection of tunes has the New Orleans band once again teaming up with producer Skidd Mills who previously worked with 12 Stones on the 2007 release of ‘Anthem for the Underdog.’

The lead single from ‘Beneath the Scars’ is ‘Infected,’ which was mixed by Johnny K. The single is currently available for digital downloads through iTunes and Amazon. “The song was written about the messed up state of the world,” 12 Stones’ singer Paul McCoy says of the band’s latest release. “It speaks about how crazy these times are, and about being fed up with the chaos and hatred.”

Still not enough to hold you over until May 22? Fear not. Fans who wish to pre-order the album from band’s official website will have early download access to additional six songs prior to album release day.
