For many of us children of the 90's, the thought of having Mark McGrath, Uncle Kracker, and Kevin Griffin from Better Than Ezra sounds awesome! It's not.

I loved Sugar Ray. I loved Better Than Ezra. And Uncle Kracker was cool too. So put them all together and you'd think it would be a songwriting wonderland. Until you hear "B.Y.H.B." which is "Bring Your Hot Body". Yes, really. Oh and they call themselves Uncle Ezra Ray.

I'm thinking that they wrote all their best stuff in their original bands, which is why those bands haven't done much of anything for years now. They've tapped their reserves.

I will however give credit where credit is due. They seems to have unlocked the link between 90's alternative music and the new wave of country. Listen to the song they released and see how much it sounds like modern radio country. These guys should be getting songwriting credits for everything on country radio for the past 10 years.
