Yep, me, the horror movie fan, is just getting around to "World War Z".   I'm kind of glad I waited too.  The bigger distance you have between the book and the movie the better, because they have virtually nothing in common.  In fact, to the best of my recollection they only things they have in common are the name and the topic of "global zombie outbreak".

Nessman’s Favorite Nightmares: Mother’s Day [VIDEO]

Yep, just in time for Mother's Day, a blog about the movie "Mother's Day.  Now this is about the 2010 movie which bears almost no resemblance to the old "B" movie by the same name.  First off, this is not a movie to watch with your mom.  Second, I've always had a problem calling movies without a supernatural element "horror" movies, but would else would you call the horrifying events like home invasion, torture and murder that happen in this movie?  More after the jump.

Nessman’s Favorite Nightmares: Scream

Scream was the first movie I ever watched twice back to back.  I don't know why I missed it in theaters (probably because the trailer doesn't do the movie justice). All I know is I rented it on a Friday night, watched it, went to bed and then woke up and watched it again.  I've seen it a dozen times and have invested numerous hours in it and all of the sequels.  More after the jump.

Nessman’s Favorite Nightmares #1: “The Evil Dead” Series [VIDEO]

I've got ongoing blogs about "Must See Comedies" and "The Ultimate Album Collection" .  It then occurred to me that I'm not writing about my favorite topic of all, horror films.  I've reviewed a couple of horror films, but I'd like to give you a heads up on my favorite ones of all time.  In this particular case, it makes more sense to write about the entire series of films then it does to write about just one.
