A Country Music Fan Proves Just How Awful Today’s Country Is [VIDEO]

Tom Petty, who has become a bit of an old coot, said it best when he said “today’s country is just bad rock with banjos”. Well, it’s a little worse than that. Evidently they’re all singing the same song.

I can testify that these are the “hits”.  The guy didn’t just search out obscure stuff to make his point, in fact he describes himself as a fan of country music.  What he’s out to show is that the well of country lyrics ain’t too deep.  It’s a formula thing and no one strays too far from it.

Now please, if you comment on this story, don’t tell us about how your favorite country artists is “better”.  This is the one time that I can without fail tell you that no one on this page gives a crap.
