Right now there are not a lot of details about the alleged incident, but University President Michael K. Young addressed the incident on Tuesday.

"I deeply regret the pain and hurt feelings this incident caused these young students," said Young.

In a statement sent Monday, Young said that police were called to the scene after the alleged incident and they were assessing the situation. Young also said that the allegations would be taken very seriously and that administrators and other students assured the students that they were welcome.

Young made his statements in an email sent to "the A & M community."
