Sunday evening wasn't Aaron Lewis' best, as he performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" with a little miscue in the beginning.

With that said, Lewis did a justifiable job in finishing the performance; he didn't stop, he didn't hesitate, he just continued to belt out the lyrics until he reached the end. He also released a statement on the matter condemning himself and apologizing for what had happened.

Obviously, he didn't mean to screw up, God only knows how nervous one must be performing in front of so many.

The San Francisco Giants took a 3-2 lead in the 2014 World Series with a 5-0 win over the Kansas City Royals.

Game 6: Tuesday night from Kansas City.
