Anthrax has been hard at work over the last year on eight tunes from the their favorite '70's bands. The tracks were recorded at drummers Charlie Benante's home studio, in hotel rooms and on the bands tour bus.

"Anthems" will have the 'cattle killers' covering 'Anthem' from Rush,Thin Lizzy's 'Jailbreak', 'TNT' by AC/DC, Boston's 'Smokin'', 'Big Eyes' by Cheap Trick, Journey's 'Keep On Runnin', as well as the album version and a special remix of Anthrax's 'Crawl'.

The eight-track EP will also feature special artwork for each tune.

"Anthems" is scheduled for release on March19th, and Anthrax will headline the Metal Alliance Tour, which kicks off on March 22, in Anaheim,California at the House of Blues.

The Metal Alliance Tour will make two stops in Texas; Dallas (4/9), Houston on April, 10th.
