Anthrax Breathe Lightning at the 37th FMX Birthday Bash [Photos]

Here's the only way I can describe what I took away from seeing Anthrax at the 37th FMX Birthday Bash.

Anthrax finally returned to the to the Hub City with a 75-minute set that was pure power and fury.

This set was so sweet that it could have quite possibly brought a thousand miles of Texas roadkill back to life.

From the Blues Brothers intro to the last stinging note of the night, the band just flat-out brought it for what was one of the heaviest Birthday Bashes that we've ever put on.

Thanks to all that came out and took part in celebrating 37 years of rocking the South Plains.

Anthrax will return to the Lone Star State to resurrect more lifeless critters from the great beyond when they join Slayer's final tour of North America for three shows in the month of June.
