Lubbock's Buddy Holly statue is a beacon for rock and roll. So it was fitting that the landmark served as the stage for a killer mini-show by Apocalyptica.

The Finnish band performed a three-song set live for an eclectic audience that included aspiring musicians with their instruments in tow, parents who brought their children to experience their first concert and, of course, hardcore Apocalyptica fans.

Following the performance, the guys hung out with the fans, taking pictures, signing stuff and generally having fun.

This event would not have been possible without the support of the Buddy Holly Center, the City of Lubbock and Depot District business owners. Thank you to each and every person involved who helped make this show happen.
