Aric Almirola Wins Rain-Shortened Daytona Race

We were supposed to see this race last night, but Mother Nature had other plans. Seemed the case was the same on Sunday, as rain shortened the race to 112 laps of only 160.

Taking advantage of that was first-time winner Aric Almirola who had the top spot in his grasp when the caution flag flew for rain, then the red flag, then the checkered. It was definitely a trip to see that number 43 in Victory Lane again...

Rounding out the top five, Brian Vickers, Kurt Busch, Casey Mears, and Austin Dillon all ran great races.
