The Texas Tech vs Arkansas College World Series game was supposed to happen on Tuesday night (June 19), but was postponed due to weather. Wednesday morning, the Red Raiders were in a second delay with the Razorbacks, and things got a little out of hand.

The Texas Tech team played Tic Tac Toe, while the Arkansas team was tossing the pigskin around in the dugout.

The Red Raiders and their faithful fans got their first game in against Florida with no delays, but the Razorbacks had to sit through a three-and-a-half-hour delay on Sunday. During that delay, an Arkansas fan decided to go for a light jog on the field just to keep his heart rate up during the delay, a fan has to stay loose as well you know.

Just a light jog around the outfield until BAM! Outta nowhere, the tarp guy sticks him in the gut with a form tackle straight out of the Fayettville PD's playbook.

Does Omaha have a football team? Is it close to Lincoln, Nebraska? Because Scott Frost and the Cornhuskers could use a little help. The security tarp guy was obviously just trying to show off because the offending hog runner was already stopping. My next question is, do the rest of the guys jumping on the pile get credit for assisted tackles? Is it a tackle for loss?

I wonder if we have any more tape on that guy? Oh wait, we do? Roll it.

The form is a little more relaxed here because he's going into the wall here, but you have to love a max effort guy who will forgo his tarping duties for any chance to kick a little ass. Never mind if the guy isn't running away or that he's already trying to get back into the stands.

These Omaha tarp guys just hate Razorbacks. It's like a bull and a red cape.

If the Texas Tech and Arkansas Game ever starts (there's no official start time as of 11:51 a.m. on June 20th in the year of Our Lord 2018), I hope Josh Jung and company treat Arkansas pitching like the field crew in Omaha and they rough them up.
