After a long run with the spottily successful band out of Oklahoma, the founding front-man for Hinder has officially parted ways with the rest of the band.

Supposedly, things just simply haven't been working out for the band, especially on the band's last tour, according to drummer Cody Hanson.

As for the future, the band has chosen to trudge on without Winkler, though an official word on who's going to fill Winkler's spot is uncertain. Jared Weeks from Saving Abel may come back in for the band, or maybe someone like American Idol winner David Cook.

Time will tell, but when any new news surfaces, we'll let you know.
