Charlie Sheen on Monday revealed new details about his follow-up to ‘Two and a Half Men’ – a sitcom based on the 2003 Adam Sandler movie, ‘Anger Management.’
According to EW.com, Sheen will play “a mild-mannered, non-confrontational man” who “is ordered to attend group anger management sessions led by a therapist who could probably use some anger management himself.”
Color us unsurprised: Rocker/actress Courtney Love reportedly stole photographer David LaChappelle’s car Monday night, leaving him stranded — not to mention angry.
The incident reportedly took place at New York’s Soho House, where LaChappelle had agreed to let Love borrow his chauffeur-driven SUV so she could drive to director Brett Ratner’s house and pick him up.
Stephen Colbert cited a recent Washington Times editorial by Ted Nugent on Monday’s episode of ‘The Colbert Report.’ In the editorial, the rocker described the youth of today as “terminally stoned on apathy.”
At first, Colbert seemed skeptical of Nugent’s choice of medium for the editorial, doubting whether the ailing newspaper industry could actually “jolt our youth awake.”
As expected, Pixar’s ‘Cars 2′ easily took first place at the weekend box office, netting a healthy $68 million. That’s about $8 million higher than the original ‘Cars,’ which opened to $60.1 million in 2006.
Well, so much for that: A judge ruled Thursday that Lindsay Lohan was only guilty of ‘extremely poor judgment’ after she tested positive last week for alcohol.
Judge Stephanie Sautner also banned Lohan, who is currently under house arrest after she was accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace, from a jewelry store in California and from having parties at her house. She is now only allowed to have “one friend over at a time, and your family, should you want them. That is it.”
Another sequel cruises into theaters this weekend by way of Pixar’s ‘Cars 2,’ with Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) back for another fast-paced adventure – this time, at the first-ever World Grand Prix.
Reviews haven’t been too kind for the movie, but given Pixar’s recent successes, ‘Cars 2′ should have no problem taking the number-one spot at the box office.
Police said Wednesday that ‘Jackass’ star Ryan Dunn was drunk and driving upwards of 140 miles per hour at the time of his fatal car crash early Monday morning.
“The initial crash reconstruction investigation determined that Mr. Dunn’s vehicle was traveling between 132-140 miles per hour at the time of the collision,” West Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll said in a statement Wednesday (via CNN).
