You may have noticed that prior to the FMX Big Purple Party we had to have contests to get listeners to post their photos for us to use on our website. Yes, "photographers" went to the FMX Spring Thing and X-Fest, but we never saw anything from them. So when listeners ask simple questions like "who took that picture of me?" We had no idea. Some of these folks even told or implied to the band, the promoter, the gate people and the concert goers themselves that they were somehow connected to the radio station ( I confirmed this with the promoter this morning). The folks at Funny or Die recognized it for what it was and had an actor read it. I've decided this is how I'm going to keep up with Game Of Thrones this year. Sure, it's on at my house, but I'd rather be playing Command & Conquer than watching what is now a dungeons and dragons soap opera. Guns N' Roses are booked to play the Lone Star Amphitheater Saturday June 1st. There will be reserved seating in the pit and general admission seating on the lawn. Opening acts are to be announced. More after the jump.
Man, I don't know what can be said about the FMX Purple Party other than awesome. We got lucky with the perfect day, no real attitudes among the bands, the staff or the crowd. Best of all, everybody seemed willing to check out each others music. More after the jump.

There's no question, this is apparently the final season for Dexter. You can kind of tell because the clip says "The Final Season". I'm going to be sad to see this one go, but all good things come to an end (and in Dexter's world they are then chopped into pieces and thrown into the ocean).
