There are ups and downs to being a case of arrested development. The fact is I have tons of knowledge and experience from my many years on this spinning dirt ball called earth. On the other hand, since I refuse to grow up, most of my friends are twenty years younger.  This gives me some very unique perspective.

The backlash against the Indiana "religious freedom" law is a peek into the future. The way I read the situation is this- young people are so skeptical of politics, or of the choices that they are given, that they don't vote. This doesn't mean that their not interested in their world, they just aren't interested in the system. They fact is, they will rise up in massive numbers, THEIR way, and that is through the power of social media. The fact is, the war against stuff like this religious freedom law has already been won, it's just a matter of time before the proper people are in place. That is also part of what is happening, this is a culture war more between the young and old than even the religious and the non-religious. Things like this religious freedom law are a certain segments of society trying to stay relevant as they see their way of life disappearing. They are literally flailing around, fingers trying to grasp onto anything that makes them seem vital.  Well, it's over and its done. Only time is needed for change.
