Beastie Boy Mike D Releases First Music Since MCA’s Death [AUDIO]

In the first release of any music from any of the Beastie Boys since the death of MCA (Adam Yauch), Mike D aka Michael Diamond released a 10 minute mix track on his Soundcloud.

The track is listed under then name Humberto V New Reactionaries. According to website NME.com: "New Reactionaries is a name Mike D has used to make music under before, while Humberto is a Japanese fashion designer for Kenzo, the label the mix was made for."

Mike D said about the new trackthat he "wanted to honour what he (Humberto) was inspired by: American hardcore like Black Flag, Bad Brains, Circle Jerks but then I wanted to update it, or maybe couldn't help but to update it."
