Longtime Lubbock blues-man Dangerous Dan Earnest passed away back in September; leaving behind family and his girlfriend who is fighting her own battle with cancer. On Sunday (12/8) join some of the best players in Lubbock to celebrate his life and help Terry with her own fight.

Dan was a permanent fixture in the Lubbock music scene for over two decades, playing countless shows with the Soul Patch Band.

A who's who of local Lubbock talent will be on hand to pay tribute and celebrate  the life of Dangerous Dan Earnest.

The benefit will feature a silent auction and music from John Sprott, Mike Pritchard, Reverend Al and the Pythons, Dix Hat Band, The Darren Welch Group, Chad Chestnutt, and many more.

The Dangerous Dan Earnest Memorial Benefit gets underway this Sunday at 3 p.m. at the SoundStage Lounge located at 1925 Buddy Holly Ave.

The $10 cover will help with Tammy's medical bills and will assist in covering Dangerous Dan's final expenses.
