Lubbock Bicyclist Suffers Serious Injuries After Running Into Parked Car

Lubbock Police received reports of an injured male bicyclist Friday afternoon (Oct. 26).

At around 4:45 p.m., police responded to the area of Glenna Goodacre Boulevard near Avenue U. Initial reports indicate the bicyclist was traveling in the 2000 block of Glenna Goodacre when he struck a parked car and was thrown.

The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
