Big Weekend For Tech Baseball Propels Red Raiders Up Polls

Earning yet another series win in the Big 12, and more importantly over a top Big 12 team in TCU in Ft. Worth, has Texas Tech again on the rise in various polls around the nation.

The Red Raiders now rank #10 in D1Baseball's poll, the first time the team has cracked that top 10 this season, #13 in RPI rankings, and now #14 in the NCBWA poll.

The climb started thanks to Tech taking care of business against the Horned Frogs this past weekend. The Red Raiders handled the higher-ranked TCU team on both Friday and Sunday, winning 7-3 and 3-1, respectively. TCU won the second game in the series on Saturday by a score of 13-6.

Tech stays on the road yet again this weekend, taking a trip to Lawrence to play the Jayhawks for three-game stint.
