Short track racing was on full display Saturday night, as Brad Keselowski held off Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer to clinch yet another win and the top seed in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Brad K did a great job Saturday night, firing on all cylinders, hitting all the right marks, and simply putting together a clean race. As stated earlier, he held of the #24 who tried to surge late, along with Clint Bowyer, who didn't make the Chase even after the bronze finish. Jamie McMurray finished fourth and Kevin Harvick rounded out the top five.

As the last race of the "regular season" wound down, I realized just how close we were to finishing this season. Just a couple of handfuls more of racing and it's waiting time until 2015.

Next week marks the beginning of NASCAR's version of the postseason, or racing playoffs, if you will. It's sure to be high-octane entertainment, with the likes of Keselowski, Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Harvick, among many others, all vying for the Chase championship.

It all begins with the drop of the green flag in Chicago.
