Sad news to report, as onetime Municipal Waste drummer Brandon Ferrell has passed away. No cause of death has been revealed.

Ferrell was a member of Municipal Waste from 2002 to 2004 and played drums on the crossover thrash band's 2003 debut album Waste 'Em All. According to Exclaim!, he also played drums, guitar and/or bass with the bands Direct Control, Government Warning, Wasted Time and Career Suicide. He was most recently a member of the band Obsessor, for whom he sang and played multiple instruments.

Additionally, Ferrell ran his own imprint No Way Records. He is survived by his wife and two children. Municipal Waste confirmed the news of Ferrell's death via their Facebook page on May 31:
