Kliff Kingsbury and Bret Bielema are as different as two head coaches could be, and now the beef is official.

The feud began in the spring of 2014 when Bielema said that offenses that were fast-paced and no huddle were the reason that more college football players were getting hurt. When asked for proof, Bielema cited "death certificates."

The coach most outspoken against Bret Bielema and his "the old way was better" approach was Kingsbury, who said the claims about hurry up offenses were "ridiculous."

The problem magnified when Bielema went to a Texas High School football conference and said that his philosophy is better than the philosophy of the fast-paced spread offense now run all over Texas.

His direct quote from the coaches conference is now national news because Kingsbury brought it up in the post-game press conference after the Red Raiders beat Bielema's Arkansas Razorbacks.

Bielema responded to Kingsbury's comments the only way he knows how: by talking louder than the other guy. During Beliema's Monday press conference, he had plenty of things to say:

My favorite line from the Bielema press conference was when he mentioned that Kingsbury was a .500 coach, then mentioned how he'd been around longer as a head coach. The fact is that Bielema is 11-17 at Arkansas, and the values he clings so tightly too are crumbling all around him.

Kingsbury also had a press conference on Monday. When asked if he wanted to talk about the situation, Kliff shook his head and said, "No." He went on to say: "I've moved on from it. What was said was said. Getting ready for TCU."

I don't think this feud is over, even though Kingsbury refused to get into it again. It won't be Kingsbury that fires the next shot, either. Bielema will continue to say - and say loudly - that his way to play football is the best, safest way to play football. Keyword being safety.

Bielema is basically saying that the way Kingsbury and all other fast-paced offenses are putting their players in danger. That's why Kingsbury took the comments so personally, and that's why this isn't the end of Bielema-Kingsbury feud. Well, that and Bielema will probably keep talking about it.
