Burn Ban

Lubbock County is under a burn ban.  County Commissioners voted for the ban because even though we’re 8 inches ahead on rain for the year, the last meaningful rain fall was back in October.

Maybe now you hippies will quit being so careless burning your reefer cigarettes.

After the jump, what the ban really means to you.

Probably the most notable effect you’ll see from a burn ban is that some, if not all, firework outlets will be pulling rocket type pyros (bottle rockets, and missiles with fins).
