Candlebox's new single may be based off a word that means 'to annoy or frustrate,' but the band's Sunday night show at Jake's Backroom in Lubbock, Texas was a great reminder that 23 years after the band became a household name they're still a force to be reckoned with.

Blazing through some of their biggest hits, including songs from their four-time platinum self-titled 1993 debut, Candlebox rocked the Room of Doom late Sunday night, giving attendees a perfect excuse to come in late to work the next morning.

Fun fact: Saturday, April 9 was Kevin Martin's birthday.
