Cannibal Corpse New Album ‘Torture’ Breaks into The U.S. Top 40 [VIDEO]
In the world of music where it is so easy to just log on to the internet and grab whatever music your wanting to hear at that time, it's hard for any band to sell CD's.
Cannibal Corpse have been around for almost 25 years now. With 2 of the greatest lead vocalists that death metal have ever seen Chris Barnes 1988-1995 now with Six Feet Under and George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher 1995- now and some of the best musicians in metal today. Cannibal Corpse have earned their spot amongst the greatest ever.
"Torture" is the 12th album from Cannibal Corpse and from start to finish it's already one of their best sounding albums. "Torture" sold 9,600 copies in its first week of sale to land at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Not to cut Cannibal Corpse short by any means, but this is a great thing for a death metal band and play for a very specific group and get very little radio play. (to quote Wes Nessman) And he is absolutely right in his statement.
Congratulations to Cannibal for breaking into the top 40 of The Top 200 charts. And be sure to see Cannibal Corpse live in Lubbock, Texas on April 25th in The Backroom of Jake's.
