I am very proud of the interviews we do on the RockShow. We've talked to everyone from movie stars to local charities.  Today we caught Mayor Glen Robertson in the hall and he was happy to drop by.

AFI are back with a new song and it doesn't seem to live up to their standards yet. "I Hope You Suffer" comes from their newest unnamed album due out in September.

Rooster recently posted this audio clip from Asking Alexandria. He got the name of the song wrong though. So I decided to post it here and openly call him a dumbass. I win! This is Asking Alexandria's "Killing You".

Rise Against are just a great rock band, no matter what. And when they decided to cover a classic like Journey's "Any Way You Want It", they really bring it.

Corey Taylor has a new book called "A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to Heaven" in which he talks about the supernatural.  We spoke to Corey about the book, his run-ins with some supposed "supernatural"  stuff and what it's like to be on stage in front of bazillions of people at the download festival.

Soundgarden Bassist Ben Shepherd released a solo track called "Collide". Oddly this is his second solo release from his upcoming solo project.

In the first release of any music from any of the Beastie Boys since the death of MCA (Adam Yauch), Mike D aka Michael Diamond released a 10 minute mix track on his Soundcloud.

Everyday we do a little extra audio for the FMX Stream.  It's kind of like the promos you hear for the show over the air, but the freedom on the interweb allows us to go a bit longer and be a big juicier in the content.  Anyways, we have some pretty fun samples of the show for you to check out.

LONG before Guns N' Roses blew the doors off the metal scene of the late 80's, Axl was in other bands. Obviously none of them were anywhere near the caliber of GNR.

I have to say I'm not the biggest Dave Mustaine fan ever. But that doesn't affect my feeling for Megadeth. Meh...

A Slayer fan has uploaded an 8-bit version of "Reign In Blood". Not familiar with 8-bit? Imagine Slayer doing the "Legend Of Zelda" soundtrack. That's what you have here. R.I.P. Jeff Hanneman.

MGM Electronics on Frankford Avenue hosted one hell of a party Monday night. The JVC Entertainment Plugged In Tour included live performances by Angels Fall, Girl on Fire, and Lost in Los Angeles.
