"The Carnival Of Madness" IS coming to Lubbock. After a couple of bumps in the road, the show is confirmed and set to hit the Hub City on August 17th at the Lonestar Events Center. On the tour this year is Evanescence with special guests Chevelle, Halestorm, New Medicine and CAVO.

Just when I had fully recovered from the FMX Birthday Bash, and X-Fest 9, three more rocking road shows hit the Dirt City to kick off the month of May.
Trapt, returned to the Hub City after seven years, and threw it down in the "room of doom" at Jakes.
Chris Hall, former frontman for Stabbing Westward brought his band The Dreaming, to the Hub City for a Monday night rock 'n roll get together at Jakes.
Trapt is back in Lubbock May 7th to support the upcoming album "Reborn" featuring the new single "Bring It".

The afternoon came early for those that attended the birthday bash the night before. While we waited on our first meet-n-greet of the day, we noticed how clean and empty the amphitheater was. It would have been impossible to know that there had been a major concert there just hours before if we had not been at it, and if the Birthday Bash was any indication, X-Fest 9 was going to cap off one of the greatest rock and roll weekends that Lubbock has seen in a long time.
