Well, were do we start here? First Cinco De Mayo is NOT "Mexican Independence Day". It's a celebration of the the "Battle Of Puebla" in which Mexican forces whipped the French in 1862. It was basically 2000 under-equipped Mexicans versus 6000 Frenchmen and they whooped 'em good. This was good for the U.S. too, because some thought if the French won, they'd use Mexico as a launching point to get involved in the civil war.
