Linkin Park Wants You Dead!

Every song on the Linkin Park pretty much plays out the same way.  Imagine a scene in a Lifetime movie about teen suicide.  A teen, crying, yells ‘you don’t understand’ then slams the door to his room.  He then puts any one of these songs on repeat, cries a little more, then hangs himself.  Seriously, when I hear these songs, I see swinging bodies.  It’s just that melancholy and depressing.

Black Stone Cherry-Like I Roll [VIDEO]

Man I'm feeling the new "Black Stone Cherry".  If you're a fan, it's probably not new to you, but traditionally bands and record companies feed radio stations 'one song at a time' .  We just got the latest release from Black Stone Cherry and it's an EXCELLENT followup to "In My Blood".  More after the jump.

‘The King of Fighters 2012′ Mobile Game Review

In case you haven’t noticed, there’s nowhere on an iPhone to plug in an arcade-style fighting stick. That means we’re stuck with touch controls that try to replicate arcade setups, which is about as easy as playing handball while wearing oven mitts.

‘Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective’ Mobile Game Review

The fact that a game is great on a DS doesn’t mean its iOS port will be as impressive, or even playable. Some people yearn for Nintendo-sanctioned Mario Kart or Metroid to come to mobile, but that prospect sickens us. Some games just require buttons. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, though, is on the opposite end of the spectrum. It plays as though it was built from the ground up for iStuff.

‘Imperium Galactica 2: Alliances’ Game Review

Real-time strategy snobs insist that the only platform their games of choice work on is the PC, and for good reason.

If You Now Love, Or Have Ever Loved, Horror Movies Go See “Cabin In The Woods” Now

Don't let anyone spoil this movie for you, and this article will have no spoilers in it.  I can only tell you that this movie is above and beyond most anything ever made.  The fact is, it references most everything ever made.  The problems with the previews is that since this whole movie is a twist, they can't really tell you to much about what is going on.  More after the jump:

WWE ‘SmackDown’ Live Recap – [4/10/12]

As opposed to the normal pretape-on-Tuesday to air-on-Friday deal, this week’s ‘SmackDown’ ran live on Tuesday night, presumably as a way to clear the deck and rearrange everyone’s travel schedule for WWE’s impending European tour.

Dress Codes are Stupid and so are People That Want Them

So I was reading a news story about some local LISD trustee candidates as they discussed the dress code for our kids. I finally came to a realization. All of these people are idiots!

‘Anomaly: Warzone Earth’ Game Review

By now most everyone is sick of Tower Defense games. They seem the go-to genre for smaller developers and we’ve been inundated with subpar entries, perhaps because it’s easy to think of a new gimmick or theme for them and slap right on. In my mind nothing much has bested Desktop Tower Defense, the original browser game which almost single-handedly kicked off the popularity of the style, although there have been a few notable exceptions like Plants Vs. Zombies and Pixeljunk Monsters.

‘Ridge Racer Unbounded’ Game Review

Get past the silly name and you’ll find out that Ridge Racer Unbounded is one of the best of the series. While it doesn’t feature open world gameplay like the title infers, if you prefer arcade-style racers (as I do) you’ll definitely enjoy this game, which features an amount of destruction far beyond previous installments.
