The Houston Rockets came up with a must-needed win last night as they slipped past the Warriors. The Oklahoma City Thunder fell a bit and experienced their 1st loss in 5 games. Over in NHL, the Dallas Stars had a big night against the Edmonton Oilers.
The aging San Antonio Spurs are playing like all-stars as we inch closer to All-Star Break in the NBA. Currently with the best record in the league, the Spurs rolled to another easy win as they took care of the Chicago Bulls last night. The Dallas Mavericks, on the other hand, look nothing like the team they've been in recent years as they fell to Atlanta.
The San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder had fairly easy wins on Sunday in their match-ups against the Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns, respectively. The Houston Rockets, however, didn't fair as well as they lost to the Sacramento Kings.
The Lakers and Celtics are 2 of the greatest franchises in the NBA but seem to be on their way 'out' with their current team. Well, they met up last night and Kevin Garnett and the Celtics ran away with the win. In it, 'KG' became the 16th player in NBA history to reach the 25,000-point mark.
In a game that featured a 30 minute power outage, hilarious commercials, a terribly long halftime show, and NFL record kickoff return, the Super Bowl was anything but boring. The Ravens jumped out to an early lead, only to see the Niners storm back. But, at the end of the day, the Ravens were victorious.
Petitioning the White House has become as common as the cold as of late. So, I decided to petition them to make the NFL move the Super Bowl to Saturday night.
This Sunday marks the end of the 2012-2013 NFL season as the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens meet up in Super Bowl XLVII. We'll preview that game as well as looking back at yesterday's games in the NBA, NCAA, and NHL.

It's awesome we don't have to keep our bladders full checking out Superbowl commercials. Now, with the internet, most of the commercials are released ahead of time and we even get to see extended cuts. The Dallas Mavericks, at one point, were up by 21 then the wheels fell off as LaMarcus Aldridge led a mighty comeback by the Portland Trailblazers. Aldridge's jumper at the buzzer was the difference in the game. The Dallas Stars headed to motown to take on the Detroit Red Wings and came away with a 4-1 loss.
