I've sat through very few concert films in my life. For me, concerts are generally about the energy of the experience. With Mad Season, the art and emotion is so intense, it carried the film in such a way that I couldn't turn it off. It's another installment of a comedy, you just gotta see! When Heathen I tried brainstorming the funniest comedy of the last five years, this one came in just under the wire. From 2007 it's "Superbad" with Jonah Hill, Micheal Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Like most great comedies it had a great supporting cast too with a young Emma Stone, Seth Rogen, and Bill Hader.
