Championship Bull Riding Returns to Lubbock This Saturday

It's going to be a busy weekend.  We have the FMX Birthday Bash AND we have dozens of amazing riders coming into town for Championship Bull Riding.  Either Rock Out or Buck OFF this weekend.  You might even be able to do both!  More after the jump.

C.B.R. is the real deal. This is the circuit that matters. Tuff Hedeman is to bull riding as Troy Aikman was to the Cowboys.  He's the Bigfoot on the monster truck circuit and the Best Picture at the Oscars.  Are you getting me here?  This is THE MAN and he's bringing his crew to town.

I'm not going to pretend that I know "all about" bull riding. I can tell you that I've been to the largest rodeo in the world (The Calgary Stampede) and I was amazed at how much of the talent was from this area.  I can also tell you that it's not unlike watching MMA (but much faster), there's that sense of danger, or life and death and power and pride that permeates the arena.  Championship bull riding is like putting a guy on top of a rocket, except a rocket won't turn around and stomp your guts out if you fall off.
