Can you believe November 2012 is already in the history books and in just a few short hours so will the first day of December. If you walk outside with your eyes closed it would be hard to tell that Christmas is only 24 days away. However, walk into any store, public building, or home this time of year and you see and hear signs of the holiday season every where around you.

Sadly, for many families the sights and sounds they take in around them are the only Christmas they will experience this year. Times are hard, it seems far too often no matter how hard many work to get ahead, some times things just seem to get any better.

Many people judge those who need a little help, but the truth is there are people you and I both know that have been, or may even be in the same boat right now. And many of those people have kids.

With that in mind, we hit the road today to help Chevy dealers across the area and Toys for Tots collect toys for needy kids.

If you didn't make it out to one of the many locations this weekend don't look at it as you missed out on a chance to make a kid's Christmas. Look at it like you have until December,15th, to pick up a new toy (or maybe two) and decide which Chevy location you will be dropping it off at next weekend.

Here are the participating West Texas Chevy Dealers:

R & K Autoplex, Levelland

All American, Slaton

Scoggin Dickey,Lubbock

Big Country Autoland, Snyder

John Roley, Littlefield

Benny Boyd, Lamesa

Gene Messer, Lubbock
