City of Lubbock Offers Kids a Chance to Make Their Own Rocket

I know kids these days prefer phones and video games, but a rocket just might be the thing to get them out of the house.

Heck, I'm excited about this workshop. There's actually two chances for kids to decorate their own rocket and parachute.  Rocket building workshops will be on January 28th and February 4th, with the launches taking place on February 4th.

I have no idea what the propellants are that launch these rockets, but just the word "launch" sounds pretty darn good to me.  The class is recommended for kids 8 and up and will you run $20.

The workshop will take place at the Silent Wing Museum from ten to two. ONE THING, you must preregister by Thursday the 26th.
