Classes were briefly disrupted Friday afternoon during seventh period at Lubbock ISD’s Coronado High School.  According to a voicemail message sent to parents, from the Coronado principal Dr. Jerry Adams, a student wrote a threatening message on a bathroom stall with the intent to disrupt classes.

Coronado administrators quickly determined the message was a hoax and students were allowed to proceed to their eighth period class.

Dr. Adams' voicemail also stated, "We are reviewing cameras and will be prosecuting the students to the full extent of the law. Anyone with information in this investigation can see any administrator or use the anonymous trust line at (806) 370-3556 to report any information."
