April 19th is the set date for Record Store Day, a day we pay homage to record stores around the globe for what they mean to us. Clutch feels the same way, as the band has hit the studio to record an exclusive track set for a Record Store Day release.

The song that will be released on a seven-inch vinyl single is entitled “Run, John Barleycorn, Run” which sounds like some classic Clutch we all know and love.

Record Store Day was founded back in 2007, and for the past seven years, artists from around the world have paid respects to the true value and importance that record stores hold. Do yourself a favor and go visit your favorite local record store.

Rock on…
