If you have turned on the television, the radio, or been on any form of social media over the past few days you have no doubt seen or heard about Colin Kaepernick refusing to stand with his team (the San Francisco 49ers) during the National Anthem.

Kaepernick says he is making a personal statement about the senseless killing of black people and will stand for the anthem when things change for his people.

Most of America says he's just an overpaid jerk.

Since the incident, pictures and videos of people burning Kaepernick jerseys have been posted all over Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Right now the NFL is standing behind Kaepernick saying they allow players to choose to sit or stand during the anthem and that they respect his decision to remain seated for his beliefs.

I can't help but wonder how long they will support his stance.
