How many of you remember where you were the morning of February 1, 2003, when you heard the news the Space Shuttle Columbia had broken apart over Texas upon re-entry?

The Silent Wings Museum will be hosting an exhibition to commemorate the 15th Anniversary of this tragic loss starting at 5:00 p.m on Tuesday, January 30th.

This event (sponsored in part by the Texas Tech University Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library, The Texas Aviation Heritage Foundation, and NASA Flight Operations, will focus on the mission of the Space Shuttle Columbia and the successful experiments those on board had completed.
