Corey Taylor Dishes Details On Songs With Velvet Revolver

Recently, the famed frontman went under the microscope of Loudwire and was tabbed to take part in the popular "Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?" segment. During the bit, the escapades involving Taylor and Velvet Revolver were mentioned, and Taylor spilled the beans on what almost was.

The word is that Taylor did at least a handful of songs with the band that simply hasn't rebounded after its sophomore release Libertad from back in 2007. The members of the band tried, and rumors swirled that Taylor was the closest of any vocalist the band tried out.

Apparently, Slash felt Taylor didn't quite have enough of what the band was looking for.
