Asking the woman of your dreams to marry you can be scary. But one Lubbock guy took his girlfriend to the scariest place in Lubbock to propose: Nightmare on 19th Street.

Nightmare on 19th Street owner and FMX Brand Manager Wes Nessman was informed by the future-groom that he was planning to pop the question at the haunted attraction's special one-day only My Bloody Valentine event on Feb. 13.

Being the big softie that he is, Wes coordinated with several Nightmare actors to corral the couple near the town square section.

With several bloodied up, tattered-looking actors forming a circle around the couple and the screams of scared teens and the chainsaw maniac echoing in the background, the man got down on his knee and asked for his girlfriend's hand in marriage. And she said yes!

You can watch the one-of-a-kind proposal in the video above.

From all of us at FMX: Congratulations to the future husband and wife. May your marriage be as happy as Nightmare on 19th Street is scary!
