Courtney Love Accuses Dave Grohl of Trying to Seduce Frances Bean Cobain

That old adage all good things must come to an end certainly doesn’t apply when it comes to Courtney Love and her goldmine of  tabloid-ready rantings. Yesterday Love unleashed a hate-filled rant aimed at Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl which accused him of being “obsessed with his hatred” of Kurt Cobain.

As if that wasn’t enough, Love took to her Twitter account last night accusing Grohl of trying to seduce her 19-year-old daughter Frances Bean Cobain, whose father was Grohl’s late Nirvana bandmate Kurt Cobain. Grohl, married with children, hasn’t responded to Love’s latest rant and likely won’t any time soon.

Gawker chronicled Love’s tweets in chronological order. They started with a death threat against Grohl stating, “I hear from Frannie’s roommate that @davegrohl hit on Frances, and that she was curious. I’m not mad at her, him I am about to shoot, dead.”

The tweets continued, traversing through some equally disturbing territory from Dave seducing her teenage daughter to him being sexually obsessed with Kurt, to his “submissive” drummer Taylor Hawkins looking like Kurt and Grohl hitting on her and her friends throughout the years. She also blathered on about Grohl having that “Romney rape thing” about him, whatever that means. You can read the full timeline here and draw your own conclusions.

No word yet on what initially incited the rant but as history shows, it doesn’t take much. Love continued the one-sided battle for quite some time, before someone pointed out that she was sending her tweets to a German man with an inactive Twitter account sporting the same name as the Foos frontman. Bad day to be that ‘other’ Dave Grohl isn’t it?

Love’s Twitter account is currently set to private but her public Twitter bio states the following ironic piece of info, “Well, I shouldn’t really be here so pretend I’m not, as long as I don’t use it when I get pissed off, well all be fine. 140 characters? Whose that dumb?”
