Crustyplague, Get Ready to Meet the Cowboys from Hell

The slogan "Don't Mess With Texas" takes on a whole new meaning when it relates to Dimebag Darrell. Especially when you're a band traveling through the great state of Texas posting pictures on your Tumblr telling how a band member desecrated his grave, pretty much ensuring they have screwed themselves from future gigs in Texas.

According to Pantera's Facebook page, someone with the username crustyplague is bragging about their stupidity, which includes stealing a pair of boots from Dimebag's grave, spitting on it and carving a homophobic slang term on the memorial marker.

Naturally, now members of the band are trying to do some damage control and distance themselves from the event by saying it is all a hoax and blaming the act on a former member.

If you're from Texas, however, you know the damage has already been done. They've messed with a Texas legend, and Texans don't forget -- hence the saying "Remember the Alamo..."
