It's always nice to see parents get their children into the right kind of music, so it warmed our hearts when FMX listener and dad Armando Perez contacted us with a simple request for our upcoming FMX Freakfest headliner Five Finger Death Punch.

Armando explained how he'd like to make the night truly memorable for his daughter Abby: by having Five Finger Death Punch lead singer Ivan Moody sing 'Happy Birthday to You' to her at the show.

According to Armando, Five Finger Death Punch is her favorite band and that their show in 2013 was her first concert ever. The kicker? She was only six years old at the time!

Abby's turning seven this month, and Armando is hoping to make this year's show even more memorable than last year's.

Here's what Armando wrote on the FMX Facebook page:

Last year for my daughter's 6th birthday, I took her to her first concert ever to see FFDP! It was a memorable night for her as she got to see her favorite band and go onstage and get a few quitar picks! They are back next week and I plan on taking her again for her bday. But I am writing this message because I would like more memorable and something she'd never forget! So I am asking if maybe Ivan would sing happy birthday to her! Or even give her a shout out during the show! Idk maybe its something they wont be able to do. And I understand if they can't. But I thought I'd give it a shot in asking for her! Either way me and my little girl look forward to seeing FFDP tear it up! And thanks FMX for bringing them back at the right time!

Talk about a cool dad!
