Rain was the biggest player in the game yesterday, in Phoenix of all places, as the race that was scheduled to start in the middle of the afternoon was delayed until the late evening, then was later the cause for the race's end.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. capitalized on the rain, charging hard to the front holding off Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano, who desperately needed some luck to gain a shot at the championship in Miami. That luck didn't pan out for the #22 and his postseason run is officially over.

The four remaining drivers that are eligible for the Chase for the Sprint Cup trophy are soon-to-retire Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, and the dark horse Martin Truex Jr.

It's the final race of the year, folks! Miami-Homestead holds the key to the entire year, and #24, #4, #18, and #78 all have the shot to be #1.
