Most people don't know the feeling of having a championship team in their town. It creates an energy and electricity all it's own. It joins people and the town together in a way that crosses so many socioeconomic boundaries.  The worst of enemies can sit across form each other in a bar and become friends when the "home team" is winning.  It was therefore a bigger bummer for Metroplex folks when the NBA lockout happened.  Now the league is coming back and Dallas is ready for their team.
