Danica Patrick Nabs Pole Position For Daytona 500

For the first time ever a woman has earned the pole position, and who else would it be besides Danica Patrick?

Patrick already seems to be a big star in the NASCAR circuit, even though she didn't even run a full season last year in the Sprint Cup Series.

Patrick reported that she was very fast in early practices earlier this week, and she proved just how fast she was, holding off Jeff Gordon and securing the pole.
