It's been almost eight years since Deep Purple has released anything, but the British rockers are back to rekindle some of the spirit from back in the day.

The band recently released a teaser video, which can be seen below, basically showing that the album will hit shelves in April of this year.

The album will be the follow-up to 2005's "Rapture of the Deep" and is said to showcase 13 tracks that are supposed to recapture the spirit of the 70's and mix that vibe with the modern sounds of today's clean and cutting edge technology.

Stay tuned for more updates and check out the video..
