Delta Alpha Sigma to Hold Donation Drive for Children In Detention Centers

All politics aside, there are still thousands of immigrant children being held in detention centers. That's not an opinion, that is a fact. And regardless of how you feel about the policies that led to this situation, certainly you empathize with the children who are in now in limbo.

If you feel called to help, there's an easy way to provide some aid this weekend. Items are being accepted at Prosperity Bank (114 University Ave) beginning this Saturday, July 28th at 8:00 a.m. through Sunday at 3 p.m.

Para La Gente is a joint donation drive with Carlson Law Firm here in Lubbock, Texas. The sisters of Delta Alpha Sigma Multicultural Sorority, Delta Chapter at Texas Tech University want to help the children that are currently being separated from their families.
