More Details Emerge on P.O.D.’s Upcoming Album

Sonny Sandoval, vocalist and frontman for the band, recently dished some details out on the forthcoming record that P.O.D. has in the works.

Sandoval officially spilled the release date and reinforced that the album will be titled The Awakening. The band is aiming at August 21 as the day the album drops, so be sure to mark that on your calendar.

Sandoval also chatted with Loudwire about how the band is doing things a bit different with this new stuff, disclosing that the new work is "a conceptual record" that it "has a storyline to it."

One thing's for sure, and that's that this new material should be pretty awesome, if the Birthday Bash was any indication. More news to come.
