Did You Even Realize It’s Palindrome Week 2016?

Well, let's just add to the weirdness of this week, shall we?

A palindrome is something that reads the same forwards as it does backwards. For instance, there is TACO CAT. Now, look at it mushed together TACOCAT.  See? It's the same forwards and backwards.

This week (since June 10), we've been having a number sequence that does the same thing when you write out the dates.

Have a look:

6/10/16 = 61016

6/11/16 = 61116

6/12/16 = 61216

6/13/16 = 61316

6/14/16 = 61416

6/15/16 = 61516

6/16/16 = 61616

6/17/16 = 61716

6/18/16 =61816

6/19/16 = 61916

The sequence gets busted on June 20, though, with 62016, because backwards the "0" and "2" would be reversed and/or out of order.

Palindrome week will be in July of 2017 and August of 2018 (and so on).
